Just wanted to post some pictures before we board the plane for IDAHO! But before we do that - WELCOME to the world, John Tyler! If you haven't done it yet, click on the link to the side to Shannon's blog and check out their new arrival. I was so blessed to be able to be there for his birth on Thursday and got to check on him and Shannon before heading out of town again! We love you all! :-)
Here are just a few of Riley's daily costume changes - I don't think I've posted these before :-). The first one, if you can't tell, is Riley as Darth Vadar (did I even spell that right?). He and Jason came up with that costume and I laughed and laughed! The second one has been around for awhile, but this one is a new one with a mask that has red lights on it - hilarious!
This is Riley at his Halloween party at Little Elks school. Beside him was his new friend, Mason. We hear a lot of good stories about Mason!
After heading home to Portland and spending two days with Jason's family, we decided to not rush back home and spend some quality time with Jason's sisters family. They invited us to go Trunk or Treating in Franklin, KY - where we grew up. It was so, so fun and we saw so many people that we knew. I think we needed that - we were all feeling a bit worn down and tired from the week. Thank you for all your hugs Donaldson clan - we are so blessed to have you all in our lives!!! Here are two pictures that commemorated our event - one of Riley and his cousins, Austin (left) and Michael (right). The second picture is of Reed TOTALLY enjoying a lollipop. It was so, so cute to see him sucking on that dum-dum. He savored each lick, I do believe.
And these last two pictures sum up how we felt after the last few days!!!
Reed has been doing so good these last few days. What a JOY it will be to travel with him and not have to worry about changing clothes every hour. YEAH!!! We are so excited to be able to see DD and her girls. We have missed them so much and can't wait to have new memories with them :-)...

Great Pics of Riley! He cracked me up at the preschool party during the bones song. He has got some moves when it comes to the spine bone! :) Nick of course was standing next to me while everyone sang. I have a few pics ( I think one has Riley in it) on our site of the party also. Have an awesome time with your family. Our Clan just left (both sets of grandparents came and went). I know how hard it is to be away from your sister! I miss mine all of the time especially now with Nick! Enjoy! Karen
And we were so glad to see you! When I watched that video of Reed eating, I just thought how far away Christmas seems--as that was the most likely time we would see you again. How excited was I when I saw you all walking up to our trunk with Julie and her boys! You all have a safe trip and LOTS of fun. Hug those Barfield girls for me.
So glad you getting to go to Idaho after everything you have been through in the last few months. HOpe you are safe and enjoy your trip. We love ya!
Riley cracks me up! I love all of his costumes! I am glad you all made it out there safely! Tell DD hello! :)
